Obituary of Hugh Allan Stewart

Hugh Allan Stewart entered into rest on May 4, 2024, at the Perth Community Care Centre.  Allan was born June 21, 1934, beloved husband of the late Darleen (nee St. John) Stewart. Proud father of Donna (Robert) Ferguson, Howard (Sarah) Stewart, and William (Angela) Stewart.  Cherished Poppy to Ashley (Bryce), Bradley (Amanda), Chloe, Jodie, Kaylie (Zack) and Madison.  Great Poppy to his great grand children Emily, Olivia, Evelyn, Sophia, Mia, Taylor and Cameron. Predeceased by his parents Claude and Florence Stewart and infant brother William Stewart.  Allan was born in Brockville where he raised his family and worked.  He held several jobs including Canadian Tire, Home Hardware, Woolco and Brockville City Bus Lines.  His favourite hobbies were woodworking, fishing, camping and watching Nascar. 

The family would like to thank the team at the Perth Community Care Centre for their constant care.

Visitation for Allan will be held at Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville Saturday May 11, 2024, at 10 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Oakland Cemetery at 11 a.m.
