Obituary of Stanley Guild

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, and Uncle, Stanley Lester Guild on Thursday April 18, 2024, at the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care at the age of 92. He leaves behind the love of his life of 71 years Betty Guild (Hannah). Children Linda Wells (Doug), Tim Guild (friend Jen), Sharon Hanna (Joe). Grandchildren and great grandchildren Jennifer McDonald (Craig), Beckie Topping (Dave) and family, Danielle Strang and her children Dawson, Draven and Deacon White, T.J Guild (Jessica) and their children Bentley and Brody. We would like to thank Dr. Torres for his home visits, Home and Community Support Service, Bayshore and Palliative Care. Special thank you to Mayur Vadher and Mansi Kasundra at the Mallorytown Pharmacy for going above and beyond helping the family through this difficult time. A heartfelt thank you to son-in-law Joe, who upon his retirement from nursing provided care and expertise which helped keep Stanley home as long as possible. To honour Stanley’s wishes there will be no visitation, a private family gathering will be held at a later date. In memory of Stanley, donations to Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. At this time, we would like to thank family, friends, and neighbours for all the gestures of kindness they have offered to the family from home visits, cards, calls, food and sharing of all the wonderful memories of Stanley.
