Tribute: Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site, on Wednesday February 15, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie (Bogert). Also predeceased by his father, Charles Irving Smith and mother Lena Eileen (Larocque), his sister-in-law Gladys Amyotte and her husband, Rolly, his brother-in-law, Cliff Bogert and his wife Marion. Survived by his sister-in-law, Eleanor Easton and her husband Fred and his niece Sheila Rhodes and her husband Roger. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

At Smitty’s request there will be no visitation or funeral. A family burial will take place in the Spring. Donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care, would be appreciated. Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville entrusted with the arrangements.
